Trane VAL8594 Thermal Expansion Valve 5/16X1/2" 3 Ton 80.8 °F R410A

The Trane VAL8594 is Thermal expansion valve for use in HVAC systems that use R-410A refrigerant and have a capacity of 3 tons. TXVs are critical components in refrigerant circuits, The flow of refrigerant in the evaporator coil is controlled by temperature. The Trane restricts refrigerant flow by sensing the temperature through a 24" capillary tube as the coil temperature gets colder. This prevents the system from being overcooled and works better. The Trane made of durable stainless steel, is a straight-through configuration with sweat connections 5/16" for the inlet and 1/2" for the outlet. In R-410A applications, the valve is pre-set for a superheat of 80.8°F, a critical parameter for optimal system performance.
