Trane VAL19941 3-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve(TXV) R410A

The Trane VAL19941 3-ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve for R410A refrigerant for use in all air conditioning and refrigeration applications. TXVs serve the function of controlling the flow of coolant that is admitted into the evaporator coil. This valve is used to quantify the temperature of the superheated refrigerant that leaves the evaporator with the aim of regulating flow. TXVs control superheat to allow the highest heat transfer while at the same time avoiding circulation of liquid refrigerant into the destructive compressor.
