Trane VAL11158 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) 6 Ton 3/4" IN / Out 80 Mesh STR

The Trane VAL11158 is not your standard thermostatic expansion valve, as this is a 6-ton Thermal Expansion Valve designed for high-tonnage applications that employ the R410A refrigerant. Measuring approximately 4.3 inches in length this valve is key to helping increase system efficiency. In contrast to some other TXVs, the Trane is equipped with a 15% bleed feature to achieve the better control of refrigerant flow required in the system. This exact control is offered by the thermostatic actuator, whereby the evaporator coil temperature is detected. The valve body is made from bimetal and it offers safe 3/4 inch inlet and outlet ports.
