The Johnson Controls V46AE-1 valve is an automatic valve used to control pressure and flow of water in HVAC systems. It has a cast iron valve body and has a flow size of 1-1/4 ” NPT which goes well in most applications with high pressure.This 2-way valve works under the pressure range of which it ensures high stability and optimum water control. This valve works based on change in pressure within a system with the valve responding to change in pressure. As pressure increases the valve opens to let more water through so that pressure reduces. As pressure decrease, the valve shuts, thereby decreasing the rate of water flow whilst increasing pressure.
