Carrier EA09KB561 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) Valve

The Carrier EA09KB561 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, applied to HVAC equipment such as heat pumps and air conditioners . It accurately regulates the amount of coolant lift by sensing the temperature condition of the evaporator coil. The TXV uses a bi-metallic coil which either increases or decreases in size depending on the temperature. This expansion or contraction controls a valve opening and lets in only the amount of coolant to the evaporator coil. This will make sure that while the coil is receiving heat, it doesn’t let in too much refrigerant, which would harm the compressor.
