Johnson Controls T-5312-3 2-Position Receiver Controller

The Johnson Controls T-5312-3 Two-Position Receiver Controller is a small device intended to make controlling of HVAC equipment easier. While proportional receiver controllers are capable of varying a signal, two-position receivers such as the T-5312-3 operate with a digital 0/1 output. It uses a 24VAC power supply and has a relay output which makes it easy to interface with the actuators in HVAC systems. This is controlled by a two-position (on/off) control signal from a source such as a thermostat. According to this signal, the controller switches on its relay output which controls an actuator that is linked to the HVAC equipment such as dampers, valves, and thermostats.
