Johnson Controls T-4002-9008 Pneumatic Thermostat DA Horizontal 12°C-30°C

The Johnson Controls T-4002-9008 Pneumatic Room Thermostat is a direct-acting (D.A.) temperature control device meant for horizontal installation. It controls space temperature using compressed air pressure in two-pipe HVAC systems, commonly for heating and cooling. The thermostat incorporates a rotary dial which selects the set temperature within a range of 12°C to 30°C. This variable air pressure signal is then transmitted to pneumatic valves or damper actuators that open or close the path of hot or cool water/air flows of the HVAC system to maintain the appropriate temperature in the space. Pneumatic thermostats are relatively easier and durable than electronic thermostats, and therefore suitable for industrial and institutional applications.
