The Trane COM11175 Scroll Compressor is a refrigeration component used in the HVAC systems to move refrigerant around the cooling loop. It runs on a 200-230 volt, three-phase power system, whereby a scroll mechanism is used to compress low-pressure refrigerant vapour into high-pressure that allows efficient heat transfer to sustain a 6-tonne capacity. It is installed in the outside part of air conditioners, heat pumps, or chillers and is linked to refrigerant lines and electrical supply according to the system design and is used to ensure a steady flow of refrigerant.
