Reznor 97479 Time Delay Relay

The Reznor 97479 Time Delay Relay is used in the HVAC system to prevent short circuiting of the system. It also briefly cuts off the electrical supply to protect the compressors and other components. It does not permit current through the circuit for a while when voltage is applied to it and minimizes the load on equipment such as furnaces and air handlers. It increases the longevity of the system, decreases the load on the electrical components, prevents frequent switching on and off, and provides better energy for heating and cooling.
