The Amana-Goodman 0130P00086 Thermistor Red is used to detect temperature at a particular position installed in the HVAC systems and send a signal to the control board in the form of resistance to ensure proper thermal monitoring. It has a high-resolution sensing element in a clip having a 0.312'' mounting interface to firmly attach to tubing, coil fins or other parts. It transforms the changes in temperature into changes in electrical resistance.
