Johnson Controls M9000-561 Thermal Barrier For Steam Ball Valve Linkage

The Johnson Controls M9000-561 Thermal Barrier is a special accessory for steam ball valves. It serves as an insulator so that it shields the actuator from the high temperatures of steam that are produced in industries. It provides a thermal isolation between the valve and the actuator and enables Johnson Controls’ M(VA)9104, M(VA)9203, and M(VA)9208 Series electric spring-return actuators to be used with steam up to 15 psi (105 kPa) or 284°F (140°C). It is usually applied with Johnson Controls’ VG1000 Series ball valves that are renowned for their performance in chilled water, hot water, and 50% glycol services.
