Carrier EA02DZ517 Thermal Expansion Valve

The Carrier EA02DZ517 is a thermal expansion valve that is used in HVAC units that use R-22 refrigerant. This TXV works in a manner that allows it to control the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator to the most efficient level. This valve keeps the temperature and pressure in the evaporator reasonable avoiding a situation where too much refrigerant is fed into the evaporator which results in icing of the evaporator coil and thus low performance of the system. This is designed for sweat or braze connection and it is suitable for different copper piping systems.
