ABB TF42-20 Thermal Overload Relay 16-20AMP

The ABB TF42-20 Thermal Overload Relay is used to protect electrical motors from overloading due to excessive current HVAC system. It is designed for a rated current of between 16-20A, it can be used in HVAC equipment like compressor, fan and pumps. The relay operates in a similar manner to detecting the current passing through the motor and shutdown the source if the current is inappropriately high which can risk the motor’s damage or cause malfunctions and reduces the reliability of the motor in future. The reliability of the produced temperature allows for the optimality of the heating/ventilation/air conditioning mechanisms, and the decrease of motor burn out as well as the maintenance cost.
