The Trane SWT3403 is one of the High-Pressure switches manufactured and intended for deploying in refrigeration as well as air conditioning systems. It consists of a switch operated by a spring that opens at several pressure degrees of 650 PSI, cutting off power to the compressor and averting harm. The switch closes and restarts the compressor when the pressure drops to a second predetermined value of 550 PSI. The is constructed with materials such as stainless steel discs and it is housed in an IP65 enclosure which means that it is protected from dust and water. This has brazed orange leads and a direct mount system.
