Trane SWT3083 SPST High Pressure Switch Opens 650 PSI Closes 500 PSI

The Trane SWT3083 switch has been designed to be a single-pole single-throw pressure safety switch used with Trane HVAC equipment. It served as a protection tool for the system because it measures pressure inside it. Thus when pressure within the system rises to the desired high limit of 650 PSI the switch flips open thus breaking the electrical circuit. This avoids straining the compressors and other parts by halting the operation until pressures reduce to a safer PSI of 500, the switch then opens to turn on the circuit. The Switch is designed for a range of operation conditions and has a pressure of -0.5 to 45 Bar and a temperature range of -22 to 185 degrees F.
