Trane SWT2201 SPST Low Pressure Switch N/O 8-Open/25-Close

The Trane SWT2201 is a low-pressure, normally open switch designed exclusively for use with HVAC equipment. It comes in the SPST family which is specifically used to control only one circuit. This switch is designed to open the circuit it controls when the pressure external to the system falls below a certain level. The Trane can be found used in HVAC systems to guard compressors against any kind of damage due to the low pressure of refrigerant. Now the switch itself has lead wire terminals for these connections and the overall dimensions of the switch are petites:- length 5”. The power rating is 8 FLA and on current it has 8A with a maximum voltage of 250 volts.
