Johnson Controls A25CN-1 SPDT High Limit Manual Reset 25°F to 215°F

The Johnson Controls A25CN-1 SPDT manual reset high-limit switch is used in HVAC applications. It protects equipment from overheating through an ability to shut down equipment if the temperature range of between 25°F and 215°F is exceeded. In this case,the switch is an SPDT, which can offer two control circuits. When preset temperatures are attained, the bi-metal sensing element actuates a switch mechanism to turn off power to furnaces, air conditioners, or other heating/cooling equipment. Manual rese means that the system stays off until it is reset by hand when the temperature falls low enough and there is a risk of accidental rebooting.
