Johnson Controls P10BC-7 SPDT Low Pressure Switch 3 PSI-20 PSI

The Johnson Controls P10BC-7 Low-Pressure Switch is an instrument that measures and controls the low pressure of air in HVAC systems. It employs an SPDT switching mechanism by which it can operate in two different electrical circuits if the pressure in the air is different. The switch has a pressure range of 3 to 20 PSI and the cut-in pressure is usually set to about 12 PSI. When the pressure is lower than the cut-in point, the switch moves and changes its electrical position. This action can open valves to turn on pumps or compressors to raise pressure or sound alarms to alert them of a problem. Constructed from die-cast aluminum with high-temperature resistance the P10BC-7 is designed for use in HVAC systems.
