Johnson Controls P70EA-10 SPDT Pressure Control Switch 20–100 PSI Differential 5 PSI

The Johnson Controls P70EA-10 is an SPDT pressure switch that is durable and it is applied in HVAC systems and other processes. It measures pressure from 20 up to 100 PSI with a differential pressure of 5 PSI. This means that the switch activates when the pressure is 5 PSI off the setpoint in the positive or negative direction. It employs a pressure-sensitive diaphragm made from Nitrile rubber. In the case of increasing system pressure, the diaphragm presses against internal contacts. When the pressure gets to the setpoint plus the differential pressure of 5 psi the switch turns on breaking one electrical circuit and making another. This switching action can be used to turn on pumps and fans or activate an alarm depending on the particular need.
