The Rheem-Ruud SP12577B Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is an essentialsafety device which prevents your heating system from building up pressure and heat. It’s rated power is 105,000 BTU/HR and it works under 150 PSI. It has an inlet and outlet of 3/4” NPT that means that it can fit in most HVAC and water heating systems. It safeguards the system by either releasing pressure or temperature that is beyond the recommended limit or which may pose a danger to the system.
