Honeywell C7600A2008 Solid State Humidity Sensor

The Honeywell C7600A2008 is a high part and high stability solid-state humidity sensor that is suitable for many applications. It uses capacitive polymer sensing element that alters its capacitance depending on the relative humidity in the environment. When humidity increases, the surface of the polymer absorbs the moisture and that increases the capacitance. This change in capacitance is then measured and processed into a corresponding RH reading This alteration in capacitance is quantified and subsequently translated into RH percentage. Several advantages are associated with this sensor, including accuracy and repeatability, short response time, and long-term stability.
