The Johnson Controls A99BB-500 Silicon Thermostat Sensor is a flexible temperature sensing solution for HVAC systems, This sensor has a small probe made of high quality stainless steel with diameter of 0.25” and length of 2.0”. The probe incorporates a silicon thermistor which is a construction that alters its value of resistance with temperature. Thermistor is the resistor whose resistance decreases with increasing temperature and increases with decreasing temperature. The A99BB-500 is designed to be attached to the surface and comes with 16ft of cable and bare wire leads which can easily be connected to HVAC control systems.
