The York S1-025-41016-000 is a critical component in air conditioning and refrigeration systems to properly meter the flow of refrigerants to improve overall performance. A temperature sensitive device is employed just like a device to control the vapor of the refrigerant from liquid to vapor. It is located within the evaporator and regulates the insertion of coolant as featured in relation to the cooling needs to enhance maximum heat exchange.It is designed for 2.5 ton systems and is compatible with R22 refrigerant, the inlet and outlet of this valve are of 3/8 inch and it comes with an ODF (Original Design Form) fitting.
