York S1-025-38739-060 5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8" x 3/8" R-410A

The York S1-025-38739-060 is a high-performing thermal expansion valve (TXV) that helps enhance flow of the refrigerant in 5-ton HVAC systems with R-410A refrigerant. As will be seen, this is the most critical section as they control the supply of coolant into the evaporator and thus ensures effective heating or cooling. Temperature sensing is the concept central to the working of a TXV. To determine the refrigerant superheat, one uses a detecting bulb, typically in the evaporator outlet.
