Lennox 73W84 Reversing Valve

The Lennox 73W84 is a Reversing Valve, an essential element for heat pump systems, which controls the refrigerant flow direction. It measures 8" by 8” by 12” with inlet and outlet sizes of 1/2” and 7/8” respectively. It means that in winter when the flow is reversed it enables the heat pump to heat the house besides, in summer when the flow is in the right direction it cools the house. During the heating mode, it circulates warm refrigerant to the indoor unit to warm the space or room. But during the cooling mode of the system, it moves in the opposite direction, it brings into the indoor environment heat that is taken out of the surrounding environment.
