Carrier P283-0293 SPDT Fan Relay 24V

The Carrier P283-0293 is a fan relay which is a 24V SPDT to be used in HVAC equipment. This small and rugged relay toggles the fan function of ventilation fans on and off in response to a 24-volt signal from the HVAC system control board. By being triggered, the relay then changes the electrical path where the power flows to the fan motor. SPDT provide a feature for the relay to switch the current to the two fan circuits, which provides versatility in controlling the airflow in the system. Constructed to handle difficult conditions, this functions properly in a range of temperatures from -40°F to 150°F.
