The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100108736 Nat Ignition Module is a component of the gas heating and cooling equipment. It serves the function of an electronic ignition system and ignites the combustion process in the burner. This module is mandatory to make the HVAC equipment perform optimally and effectively. The ignition module produces a high voltage spark which in turn the gas/air mixture in the burner chamber. After the flame is initiated, the module will remain vigilant and ensure the flame signal is correct for combustion.
