The Trane MOT9619 is a high-efficiency ECM that was developed for the commercial and industrial HVAC applications. ECM technology is different from traditional AC motors in that it uses variable speed operations. This enables the motor to change its speed in as much detail as the system’s demand may require. For example, low or variable cooling or heating loads can be controlled by making the motor slow and consequently less energy-consuming. This Trane ECM motor is mighty with 3/4 horsepower and it can operate on both 115 and 230 volts. It has a small frame size of 48 frames and has a normal frequency of 60 Hz. The motor rotates clockwise with speeds of up to 1500 RPMs.
