Trane MOT6783 Adjustable T&S Actuator 2–10 VDC Control 24V

The Trane MOT6783 is a 24V modulating temperature and pressure actuator on the HVAC equipment of a building. It is an electromechanical device that converts a 0-10V DC signal from a building automation system to corresponding movement. It is better to think of it as an interface between the electronic of the BAS and the physical systems controlling the flow of air. The MOT6783 actuator receives a voltage signal that indicates the damper or valve positions, and with high accuracy, the actuator adjusts the temperature and pressure in the building. Unlike on/off actuators, it can go to any position in between fully open and completely closed, depending on the voltage signal.
