The Trane MOT18915 2-Speed Motor is a highly portable 1/4 horsepower motor that is two-speed and is suitable for use in most HVAC system applications. It operates at 460 volts of single phase power, has a counter clockwise rotation and a 48 frame size to fit most equipment. As for improvements in efficiency and power output this latter motor should prove more efficient and less energy demanding/consumption compared to the earlier models. Through this it has the versatility of running at two stages to ensure the better airflow, system efficiency and comfort.
