The Trane MOT18461 is a three phase electric motor, built for commercial HVAC applications such as air handlers and rooftop units. It has an air-over construction which means that it draws cooling air from a source outside the motor during operation. Another reason for this continuous cooling is to keep the product in optimum working conditions without fail especially in aviation conditions. The motor provides a maximum of 4.1 horsepower and can rotate up to 1125 times in a single minute. It runs on a 460-volt, three-phase electrical supply, typical of most industrial electrical power systems.
