The Trane MOT18456 is designed for use with several HVAC systems. This motor operates at a voltage of 208-230V, 60 Hz and delivers 1/2 horsepower. The MOT18456 has five speeds that are programmable, which means that you can control the flow of air in the HVAC system better than you can with single-speed motors. Due to the program control, it is possible to set parameters for performance, for example, low noise level at low rpm or high cooling in hot weather. The motor has electronic overload protection to prevent electrical damage to the motor and ball bearings for a quiet, smooth operation.
