The Trane MOT16311 Motor is a robust device to drive high intensity air flow throughout large parts of Trane HVAC equipment The equipment may contain large centrifugal fans or blower loads required to deal with demanding loads. The motor is powerful, with 7.5 HP and runs smoothly in this machine. Although has high power output it is housed in rigid steel base and an Open Drip Proof (ODP) enclosure to protect it against dripping liquids. This Motor uses 460V, 3-phase electricity and boasts of a high revolutions per minute of 3450 RPM. It is also noteworthy that the motor has bi-directional rotation (CW/CCW) when required in certain applications.
