The Trane MOT12888 is a 1/2 horsepower motor designed for use with Trane HVAC equipment only. This is a 14” long electronic commutator motor (ECM) with a belly band mounting system for a close-fitting. It operates with a single-phase power supply with a voltage of 208V to 230V AC at 60 Hz. The motor rotates at a constant torque of 1050 RPM in the anticlockwise direction. An electrical overload protector safeguards the motor from damage that may be occasioned by high current demand. The Trane MOT12888 is different from common AC motors as it is equipped with ECM type and it has some benefits.
