Trane MOD1097 Multiple Compressor Module

The Trane MOD1097 Multiple Compressor Module is a control system for large commercial HVAC systems particularly air-cooled chillers. It controls the running of several compressors in the chiller, the efficiency of the chiller. The module also stages the compressors according to the cooling requirement to make sure that the chiller runs optimally under different load conditions. This staged approach reduces energy consumption to the number of compressors required to meet the demand. This results into lower operating costs, rotational balance among all compressors, and maintaining closer temperature control for occupants’ comfort.
