The Fireye MC120P Chassis 120Vw/Post Purge is a microprocessor-based flame safety control system that ensures the safe and efficient operation of gas or oil-fired industrial and commercial heating equipment such as boilers and furnaces. Controlling the fuel-air combination guarantees correct ignition and combustion while continuously monitoring the flame using flame rod or UV scanner inputs. To avoid dangerous situations like explosions and flames, the MC120P instantly turns off the burner if the flame goes out or fails to ignite. For additional safety and to avoid future ignition problems, it also has a post-purge function that runs the blower for a predetermined amount of time after the burner shuts off to remove any leftover fuel from the combustion chamber.
