The Trane BAYLPKT220C LP Conversion Kit used when you want to convert a natural gas furnace to LP (propane) gas. It contains all the needed parts for a competent technician to do the conversion including a fresh propane gas valve, regulator, and orifices. These are small openings that are used to regulate amount of gaseous input into the furnace burner. The propane gas valve regulates the amount and rate of propane gas which is supplied to the burner. Once this conversion is done, the furnace will run on propane instead of natural gas as it has been described above.
