Trane CNT0641 Low Pressure Control

The Trane CNT0641 safety switch protects your HVAC system from low-pressure conditions. This single-pole single-throw switch has a waterproof housing for reliable operation. It has a 120 to 240 VAC voltage range and a contact rating of 250V and can handle most electrical loads in your HVAC system. The Trane is a pressure guard, that measures the pressure inside the system. If the pressure is below a legitimate safety level, the switch automatically opens the circuit by separating the internal contacts. Such components as compressors cannot run at low pressures, and, if damage occurs, they can restrict efficiency. The 6 mm ODM solder connection provides a secure installation in the refrigerant line.
