The Lennox 14K90 Reciprocating Compressor is an essential component of the air conditioners and heat pumps. This is a workhorse of the system and its primary function is to pump refrigerant through the system. To put it in other words it cyclically circulates refrigerant gas taking heat in interior areas and distributing it in the exterior areas. This compressor is intended for single phase electrical supply of 208/230 volts AC with a power frequency of 60 Hz. Constructed from stainless steel, it has a cooling capacity of 1.5 ton (16,300 BTU) and is designed for systems using a 1/4 horsepower motor.
