The Carrier L8148E1281/B SPST Immersion Aquastat is an essential part of hydronic heating systems that provide the right water temperature. It comes with an SPST switch design. This means the aquastat can switch a heating system on or off depending on the water temperature getting to a certain level. The sensor is placed directly into the water and it measures temperature within the range of 140°F to 240°F. The aquastat checks the water temperature frequently.
