Lennox 98G42 Inducer Motor Assembly

The Lennox 98G42 Inducer Motor Assembly is a safety essential component that is used to expel combustion gases and regulate airflow in selected Lennox gas furnaces. This assembly uses a permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor for its operation. This motor effectively pulls combustion gases generated by your furnace’s burner and expels them through a flue system outside. In addition to eliminating combustion gases, the inducer motor also assists in the airflow in the furnace. This motor design is powerful yet energy efficient with 1/10 HP and a high speed of 3300 RPM for efficient removal of gases.
