The Honeywell HP970B1015 is a two-pipe humidistat designed to control and maintain humidity levels in both residential and commercial spaces. It works by measuring the relative humidity in the air and communicating the results to suitable humidification devices, which are usually steam humidifiers. The humidistat triggers the humidifier, adding moisture to the air, when the measured humidity drops below the user-defined set point, which is set between 65% and 95%. In contrast, if the humidity level rises over the predetermined level, the humidistat notifies the humidifier to turn off, averting excessive moisture accumulation and possible problems such as the formation of mold. Pressurized water supply and drainage connections are made possible by this two-pipe design, which makes installation easier and guarantees the humidifier operates properly.
