Trane VAL8194 Humidifier Solenoid Valve

The Trane VAL8194 is a solenoid valve used in Trane humidifiers and is 4.4 inches long for your information. This valve is a two-position electrical switch that controls water flow. An electric current, ranging in volts and alternating in the two directions at 24, excites a coil which in turn generates a magnetic field and, opens a valve to allow in water into the humidifier. When de-energized the magnetic field disappears and the valve shuts to prevent the flow of water. It provides perfect control of the humidifier such that it releases moisture into the air only when required. It has UNS-2B threads for a secure installation within the water line of your Trane humidifier system.
