Carrier HN52KC053 2-Pole Contactor 35A 208/240V

The Carrier HN52KC053 is a Double Pole Contactor made for carrier HVAC equipments including Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Furnaces and Packaged Units. It is a high amperage switch that regulates the currents in two different circuits of your system. This contactor has a coil that works on a higher volt range of 208-240 volts AC. The energization of the coil produces a magnetic field that opens two switches within the contactor. This enables high current 35 amps to pass through both sets of simultaneously and power two different components in your HVAC unit for instance a compressor and a blower motor.
