Carrier HH18HA498 Auto Limit Switch 170-210°F

The Carrier HH18HA498 Auto Limit Switch has dimensions of about 2 inches in length, 1.5 inches width and 0.75 inches height to accommodate its purpose as a safety device made specifically for Carrier air conditioning systems. It is also an auto reset limit switch because it constantly checks the temperature of your air conditioner. This switch measures the temperature of the system most likely within the range of 170°F to 210°F. When the temperature goes above the safe top limit of 210°F, the switch immediately cuts off the power supply to the compressor to avoid overheating. When the temperature is low enough about 170°F, the switch turns off and the compressor can turn back on.
