Trane EXC1857 Heat Exchanger

The Trane EXC1857 Heat Exchanger is a major component that is used in the heat exchange process within the Trane HVAC system. This heat exchanger is closed-loop rather than the older methods which employed flames or water boilers. Hotter fluid flows inside the internal tubes of the exchanger, and cooler fluid flows through other channels within the unit. These fluids are in close contact with each other and as a result heat transfer is easily facilitated. The Trane EXC1857 is designed in such a way that the hotter fluid transfers heat to the cooler fluid that in the process is heated.
