The Xylem-Hoffman Specialty 404236 Float and Thermostatic Steam Tap should be able to handle the release of condensate and regulate the amount of steam that flows in the HVAC systems. It is configured to be a 1-1/2" FT125C-6 trap, float, and thermostatic control to separate the condensate and the live steam. It is fitted in the steam distribution lines and assists in systematizing drainage and even thermal efficiency. The trap maintains a constant condensate removal and pressure during heating cycles.
