The Trane FLR6078 Pleated Media Air Filter 14 1/2X27X5 is a reusable air filter for HVAC systems. Its pleated synthetic media collects dust, pollen, and other airborne pollutants. The pleated filter has a surface area for trapping particles than a flat filter of the same size. Its dimensions are 5" thick, 27" tall, and 14 1/2" wide, making this filter fit into many different HVAC systems. According to its MERV rating of 11, it can capture particles as small as 1.0 microns in size. Indoor air quality will also be improved through dust allergen and other irritating contaminants removal.
