Aaon R30650 Flame Sensor/Ignitor Combo

The Aaon R30650 Flame Sensor and Ignitor are designed for different HVAC systems, particularly rooftop units and air handlers. The integration of both flame sensors and ignitors is convenient in terms of installation and repair. The ignitor applies electrical resistance to produce heat that ignites the gas burners in the heating segment of the HVAC system. After ignition, the flame sensor generally is a flame rod that checks the presence of the flame due to ionization. This confirms the ignition to the control board and means that operation can continue. This combination unit saves wiring and possible failure points, which leads to increased reliability and easier maintenance of HVAC equipment.
