Lennox 90H83 Flame Sensor

The Lennox 90H83 Flame Sensor is a necessary safety element found in HVAC system. The flame sensor absorbs heat radiating from the burning gas during operation. The heat generated from the current created by this heat is sent to the control-board. The control-board receives this signal as long as the flame is burning properly and keeps the furnace running. If the flame isn’t there or is mal-functioning, then the signal ceases and the control board shuts the gas supply down for safety.
